Dayot Upamecano is full of praise for João Cancelo and Daley Blind. Regarding FC Bayern’s two winter signings, the French central defender told the club media: “João and Daley fit wonderfully into our team. João has provided two assists in his debuts and Daley just has a lot of experience. I’m glad they’re both with us.”

Cancelo in particular has proven to be a stroke of luck for the record champions so far. The Portuguese started three times in a row and has already contributed two assists. Blind has also played three times so far, but had to make do with substitutions. With a view to the upcoming English weeks, however, it can be assumed that the Dutchman will collect more minutes in the Munich jersey in the future.
