This morning, United States agents and the Peruvian National Police (PNP) intervened in the home of two brothers accused of commercializing child pornography. International authorities would have tracked down these subjects for allegedly integrating an international pedophilia network. The victims were found at home.
A reprehensible crime. A nine-year-old girl and a 15-year-old teenager were allegedly used by their older brothers to create pornographic material. According to latin newsthe US Department of Homeland Security Bureau of Investigations., the High Technology Division and the High Complexity Division of the PNP tracked both subjects for at least six months after they sold this content on the internet.
The international agents intervened with the individuals after they identified that they were selling the pornographic material of both minors through Telegram and WhatsApp. They also broadcast it on internet platforms where they offered monthly subscriptions and charged for accessing these videos.
The specialized offices, both national and international, identified that the subjects had communication with people from other countries to whom they offered these videos. It is presumed that it would be a case of pedophilia ring.
More minors involved
Unfortunately, pedophilia is a problem that harms girls and adolescents in the country. A few weeks ago, the PNP arrested Jesus Antonio Matos Tovar60, who was accused of leading a criminal network dedicated to the sale of child pornography through social networks.
The group promoted these videos with the excuse of “chicken broth recipes” or “chicken croquettes recipes.” These were the keywords used by pedophiles to search for content of a sexual nature featuring minors who were victims of sexual abuse.
“We are talking about Jesus Antonio Matos Tovar60 years old, who hid behind titles such as chicken broth and chicken croquettes to obtain pornographic material from children… Our children and adolescents must take special care,” PNP General Óscar Arriola told latin news.

Children and adolescents at risk
It is not the first time that there has been warning of a pedophilia ring in Peru. Divindat spoke about these cases and reported that usually these criminal groups capture minors through video game online. His strategy is to pose as a child or adolescent to establish communication and trust with his victims. After that, they capture them and take advantage of them.
According to Colonel Huamán, the younger the protagonists of these videos are, the more they pay for them. “These ‘packs’ vary according to the age of the victim, if it is an infant or a child under 4 years of age, the price is more expensive. We are talking about $100 per ‘pack’ of a dozen photos and images. While the age goes up, the price goes down, ”he explained.
