The president of the United States, Joe Biden, warned this Tuesday, on the Independence Day of the North American country, that democracy must be defended generation after generation because it is never guaranteed.
“History has taught us that democracy is never, ever, ever guaranteed. Every generation has had to fight to keep it, treasure it, defend it and strengthen it,” she said during a Fourth of July barbecue at the White House with military relatives.
