Vehicle Verification presents an increase of 7.35%

For the first semester of this year, the Program of Vehicle Verificationin Mexico City, will have an increase of 7.35%Compared to the same period of the previous year.

Data from the capital’s Ministry of the Environment (Sedema) announced that the cost of verification went from 585 pesos, from January to June 2022, to 628 pesos for this 2023.

Regarding the fines for people who did not carry out this procedure, went from 1,792 pesos to 1,924 pesoswhich translates into an increase of 7.36%, similar to the rise in the verification price.

In accordance with the capital’s Sedema, through the General Directorate of Air Quality, the Compulsory Vehicle Verification Program It will enter into force on January 9. and will be valid until June 30, 2023.

The objective is to analyze the emissions of automobiles through the Verification Certificate (Hologram “0”, “1”, “2”, Rejection and Technical Evaluation)as well as the incentive “00” that is delivered to the user.

It will not be until the second semester of this year when the Sedema modifies the previously mentioned rates with respect to the fiscal year 2023 and update the Measurement and Update Unit (UMA).

How to verify?
