“Jorge Giménez’s main concern is the economic issue, with the capital that the Federation uses today for the team to compete,” Nohra said in conversation with EVTV Miami. “Giménez has to understand the position that the players are in, very committed, not only to Batista’s project, but to the country.”

Since the CNE’s announcement, the streets of different states in Venezuela have been the scene of demonstrations in which thousands of citizens demand that the electoral records be published and that the will of the majority be respected. These demonstrations have resulted in multiple deaths, injuries and arrests.
