Venom 3 |  Tom Hardy signals farewell as Eddie Brock

Actor Tom Hardy made a new post on Instagram celebrating the resumption of filming for Venom 3.

What is notable is that the post has a farewell tone, with the actor thanking those involved in the trilogy and calling Venom 3 of “last damage”.

The production of Venom 3 was interrupted amid a Hollywood actors’ strike.

Now that the strike has come to an end, projects are returning to production normally.

The feature film, which was scheduled to be released on July 10, 2024, will now debut on the big screen only in November 8th of the same year.

The direction and script are in charge of Kelly Marcelin collaboration with the main actor himself, who suggested part of the story.

1996. Young soon-to-be serial killer Cletus Kasady and his girlfriend Frances Barrison are being taken by police to an institute against their will.

Now, in the present time, a year after the events of the first film, Eddie Brock and the Venom symbiote are having difficulty getting used to each other.

Eddie is trying to get back into his career as a journalist and luckily for him, a detective approaches him to interview Kasady, now in prison and going to death row, who only wants to give an interview if he goes with Eddie. After the interview, Eddie and Venom end up gaining fame by discovering more of Kasady’s victims before he is taken for the death injection.

But, on the day Kasady would pay for his crimes, his execution fails and his Carnage symbiote makes him escape from prison. Now, Carnage and Kasady are after Venom and Eddie.

Combining the character’s first two films, Sony Pictures grossed almost US$1.4 billion at the global box office.
