Juarez City.- The governor of the state, María Eugenia Campos Galván, launched a demand to the federal government to stop the flow of migrants from the south of the country.

He said that in the security meeting held today by authorities from the three levels of government, Juan Carlos Loera De la Rosa, who represented the federal government, said in front of the approximately 25 attendees that there is no definition of an immigration policy.

He said that the migrant issue is already a national security problem given the indolence of the federal government since there is still the risk of more tragedies or social outbreaks.

He said that according to the information he has from civil and religious organizations, it is estimated that some 35,000 migrants wander in Juárez, while Chihuahua has 55 municipalities with less than 30,000 inhabitants.

All of them enter through the south of the country with a humanitarian visa and FM3, so the state government can do nothing.

The governor indicated that she has tried to speak with the Secretary of the Interior Adán Augusto López Hernández but has only been able to speak with personnel from his office since the official does not have space in his agenda.

He indicated that the problem will take him to international organizations such as the United Nations Organization, UNICEF, and also before the National Human Rights Commission.

He also pointed out that after the tragedy of March 27 at the provisional station of the National Institute of Migration (INM), the work of that agency has been more deficient because they are afraid of what the state does not have information about the actions or operations they carry out in this city.
