Step.- On February 20, 2023, the El Paso Police Department arrested 17-year-old Eduardo Antonio Robles after a viral video showed him driving a vehicle and firing a handgun out of a window in a residential neighborhood.
Police were notified of the video on Sunday and an investigation was launched.
Investigators identified Robles, and upon locating him, officers approached him as he was walking down the street in east El Paso. Robles attempted to flee and resist arrest; however, officers were able to apprehend him and take him into custody.
Robles now faces additional charges of resisting arrest, search or transport on top of his previous charge of deadly conduct for discharging a firearm in a residential area.
The El Paso Police Department thanks the community for providing information that led to Robles’ arrest.
This type of reckless behavior will not be tolerated in our city, the corporation says in a statement.
Robles was booked into the El Paso County Detention Center on bonds totaling $175,000.
