The second season of the series Vikings: Valhalla arrives on Netflix this Thursday, the 12th, promising to change the lives of the protagonists Harald Sigurdsson, Freydis Eriksdotter and Leif Erikson. According to the creators, they will have to leave their comfort zones and face new problems, such as internal conflicts and the dispute with the British Crown.

It is worth remembering that the first season ended with the brothers Harald and Olaf Sigurdsson on opposite sides for the battle for the throne. Furthermore, the official synopsis guarantees that the series’ characters will be forced to test their ambitions and courage.

“Set nearly a thousand years ago in the early 11th century, Vikings: Valhalla tells the heroic adventures of some of the most famous Vikings who ever lived – legendary explorer Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett), his strong sister Freydis Eriksdotter (Frida Gustavsson) and ambitious Norse prince Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter).

Season two finds our heroes in the aftermath of the tragic fall of Kattegat; an event that crushed their dreams and altered their destinies. Turning into fugitives in Scandinavia, they are forced to test their ambitions and courage in worlds beyond Kattegat’s gates.”
