This Sunday, it was reported that a request was made to bring the case involving sebastian villa as the main accused of the alleged sexual abuse of a 26-year-old girl. The event would have occurred in June 2021 in a country in the Buenos Aires town of Canning.
According to Télam, the 117-page request for elevation to trial was presented last Friday by the prosecutor, Vanessa Gonzalezof the decentralized Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) 3 of Esteban Echeverría before the judge of Guarantees 2 of the Judicial Department of Lomas de Zamora, Javier Maffucci Moore.
It was also requested that the Colombian soccer player from Boca Juniors be tried for the crime of “sexual abuse with carnal access”which provides for a penalty of 15 years in prison. At the same time, in the document that was presented, testimonial details of the victim are given in which he comments on how the crime occurred.
On the other hand, it should be noted that, on one occasion, Prosecutor González requested the arrest of Villa but this was denied by judge Maffucci Moore.
It should be noted that, while this request is being carried out, the player is being tried for another act of gender violence that an ex-partner was denounced in April 2020. And, for the moment, Villa is charged with crimes of “minor injuries aggravated by the relationship and coercive threats.”
