Vinland Saga |  Creator reveals what fans can expect from the end

Recently, the creator of Vinland Saga,Makoto YukimuraHe was in Canada as a guest at the Toronto International Authors Festival (TIFA) and at a Fundao Japo event.

In an interview withAnime Trendingin addition to revealing that he needed to change the beginning of the story to obtain approval from the publisher and detailing his historical research process, the mangak commented on what readers can expect from the end.

“Actually, I don’t know what will happen at the end of this story! I believe that when the manga ends, everyone hopes for a happy ending, but there are the historical facts. That’s the part It’s difficult for me at the moment.

According to the story, the end of Thorfinn’s journey is tragic. Something really tragic will happen to these characters. ‘How can I stop this from being a complete tragedy?’ That’s something I’m working on now. What should I do?”disse Yukimura.

The interviewer then suggested that he give the character a happy ending, after all it is fiction. So, the author stated that he will do his best to move in that direction.

Vinland Saga serialized in monthly magazineAfternoon. The manga published in Japan byKodanshasince 2005 it has 27 volumes to date. In Brazil, the title was launched by Panini.

The first season of the anime adaptation was produced by Wit Studio (Great Pretender, SPY x FAMILY), while in the second season the studio MAP (Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man) took over production.

Shhei Yabuta (Inuyashiki Last Hero) the director, with Hiroshi Seko (Banana Fish) e Kenta Ihara (Saga of Tanya the Evil) responsible for the script. Takahiko Abiru (Hunter Hunter) takes care of the characters’ visuals, while Yutaka Yamada (Tokyo Ghoul) composes the soundtrack.

Both seasons of Vinland Saga are available on Netflix and Crunchyroll with the option of dubbing in Portuguese.
