VIRAL: Employees of a 7-Eleven take the law into their own hands in the face of an attempted robbery

two workers in a store 7-eleven in Stockton, Californiathey took the law into their own hands in the face of an attempt to heist and they beat the thief.

A video broadcast on social networks shows the moment when a man with his face partially covered -using a pullover as a balaclava- threw dozens of packages of cigarettes and other items for smokers into a large garbage container, which he used as a storage container. .

He was about to take it away in full view of the establishment’s employees when he found an unexpected response.

When he was almost leaving the site, an employee confronted the thief, grabbed him and threw him to the ground while another began to hit him on the legs twenty times with a large stick.

During the beating, the thief repeatedly asked for the beatings to stop, an order he gave to his companions who was filming when he considered it was enough.

The images have generated conflicting opinions, some consider the reaction appropriate while others believe that the objective was to immobilize him and quickly call the police.

The incident is part of a nationwide spate of robberies across the United States in which shoplifters raid supply shelves before walking out the front door with their loot. Some of those incidents have occurred in Florida.

In December of last year a 31-year-old Cuban was arrested in Miami as responsible for the robbery at a Burlington store in Hialeah, which went viral on social networks due to the unique way in which the thief left the establishment, dragging in his hands the stolen itemsmany of them women’s handbags.

In this case, most of the items taken from the store -valued at about $5,000- were handbags, scarves and some pairs of shoes, which the defendant removed from different aisles of the establishment on November 25, coinciding with the Black Friday.
