The murder of a 5-year-old girl in the Vosges makes the inhabitants tremble. A teenager who voluntarily surrendered to the police had already been accused in a rape case in 2022. More explanations with Nicolas Fleury.
Many residents are wondering about the follow-up of the 15-year-old teenager implicated in the death of a 5-year-old girl, found in a garbage bag. Especially since the latter was well known to the courts. “He is already indicted in another case. He is accused of rape and sexual assault on a 15-year-old minor, kidnapping without voluntary release”, explains Nicolas Fleury in Rambervilliers (Vosges). The facts date back to February 2022. For this case, the teenager has not yet been tried. He is awaiting the court decision.
Absence de trouble mental
“The young man was placed under judicial control in a closed educational center which is located in another department. He was released recently, in February. His placement was lifted, so he returned here to his family”, explains the journalist. The prosecutor adds that he was being monitored and that a psychiatric expertise had concluded that there was no mental disorder in the adolescent.
