With the announcement of sending heavy tanks to kyiv, Westerners are taking a new step in their support for Ukraine.

VSThe chariots burn and will burn. Dmitri Peskov, formidable spokesman for the Russian presidency, did not taste the Western promises to bail out Ukraine’s military coffers. While NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on Sunday that Ukraine could expect new deliveries of heavy weapons from its Western allies “in the near future”, the United Kingdom announced on Saturday that was going to deliver fourteen Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine. The British thus became the first to supply heavy tanks of Western construction to kyiv.
