Welfare Pension 2023: How to collect the card if the beneficiary is indisposed?
Many older adults usually have difficulties moving, that is why the Federal Government has made available to the public some services to facilitate the formalities related to the Welfare Pension.

How to register to receive the Welfare Pension?
Older adults over the age of 65 must go to any of the Well-being modules that provide care from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., which can be found through the official website gob.mx/ wellness. If you cannot attend, you should call the Wellness Line or ask for the help of a family member.
The documents needed to obtain the Welfare pension are:
- Current official identification (voter’s credential, primer, professional license, passport, identity card, Inapam credential).
- Legible birth certificate.
- Unique Population Registry Code (CURP) updated.
- Proof of address not older than six months (electricity, water, gas, telephone or property).
- Telephone contact.
Previously, a debit card from any bank was required to receive the benefit; however, the Ministry of Well-being said that the people who register this year will have the amount deposited on a card from the Banco del Bienestar.
Unlike last year, the agency asks for the cell phone number in order to notify the elderly that their pension payment has already been deposited, this with the intention that they do not turn the banks around in vain.
When will the delivery of the new cards restart in CDMX?
It will be from next Monday, January 9, that the delivery of the Well-being Pension cards for the elderly in CDMX will resume, and the period will be in force until April 15, 2023, from Monday to Saturday at 10 a.m. :00 to 16:00 hours.
According to the authorities, the change in scheme with the new Banco del Bienestar cards is so that older adults do not have to pay any commission for the money that is deposited to them.

The deposit of the Welfare pension for older adults corresponding to the January-February bimester will be made in alphabetical order according to the first letter of the last name as follows:
- A, B, C: Wednesday, January 4
- D, E, F, G, H: Thursday, January 5
- I, J, K, L, M: Friday, January 6
- N, Ñ, O, P, Q, R: Monday, January 9
- S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z: Tuesday, January 10
The dispersal for this year will take place in five days so that the banks are prepared with the necessary amounts of the pension that increased by 962 pesos and 50 cents.
