According to the Norwegian police, all three Swedes who were affected by the avalanche accident are in their 30s. One escaped with minor injuries, while the other two were taken to hospital with more serious injuries, one of whom died later on Friday.
On Saturday, the Norwegian police confirmed to GP that the deceased man is from the Västra Götaland region.
– The other was reported as seriously injured and has been taken to hospital. We have not received any information that the condition has changed. The third man is slightly injured, says Eivind Klokkersund, operations leader at the Norwegian police to the newspaper.
Relatives have been notified.
