There was no shortage of difficulties, postponements and some scattered disappointments, dampened by the great quality of some productions that made the players happy pc, Playstation, Xboxes and Nintendo.
There have been several high quality productions in the last 12 months: think of games like Horizon Forbidden West, Bayonet 3, Pentiment, tunic, Immortality and the DLC The Delicious Last Course Of Cupheads just to name a few. But below are what they are three best games of 2022those that have managed to rise to the status of a masterpiece and thus giving great emotions and many memorable moments to the players:
Elden Ring
Expected for several years, the latest blockbuster of Hidetaka Miyazaki and FromSoftware stands out as one of the best Action/RPG ever made. Elden Ring was awarded game of the year at the Game Awards 2022and for good reason.Having taken up the classic Soulsborne formula previously made by the Japanese studio, and then placing it in an open world context, proved to be the trump card of an excellent production on several fronts, from the artistic direction to the gameplay, giving memorable battles and an incredible world to explore and get to know in depth in its deep and complex lore. FromSoftware has given its all, and there is now great curiosity to find out what else it will have to offer its fans in the future.
God of War Ragnarok
The epilogue of the Norse saga of God of War does not disappoint expectations, proving to be the best production on the contrary Playstation of 2022. Starting over from the formula sported by the 2018 predecessor, God of War Ragnarok elevates to the nth degree what we saw over four years earlier, considerably improving the gameplay, making it even more profound and varied, and making the most of the technical capabilities of both Playstation 5 what about PS4.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3
