What happened to the St. Louis Maroons?
After reaching the National League, the Maroons failed to maintain 1984 dominancelargely because the Browns lived a golden age and won every championship between 1985 and 1988.
In 1987 the franchise was sold and the team was renamed the Indianapolis Hoosiers.
