Everyone knows, but it bears repeating: Street Fighter 2 is one of the greatest video game classics of all time. The fighting game developed by Capcom dictated trends in the genre and, to this day, is played to exhaustion by fans across the planet.

And, as is usual in pop culture and also in games, classics of this size stand out in different ways. Speaking specifically about the game, characters, powers and, of course, phases, are always remembered in the conversation circles out there. In case of Street Fighter 2one of the most remembered phases or situations is the bonus phase with the car.

In this phase we have to destroy a sedan without mercy, using blows and powers of the character of your choice. There is a predetermined time for this and the “mission”, so to speak, is smooth sailing. It’s a bit of a shame, but it’s easy.

And if we count that the car from the bonus phase of Street Fighter 2 does it really exist? Yes, it is a Lexus LS 400, a sedan from the luxury brand owned by Toyota and which, at the time of the game’s launch, in 1991, was one of the most desired models in Japan and Europe.

And it was not for less. The model in question, dating from the early 90s, had a 4.0 V8 engine with 253hp and 35.9 kgf/m of torque. For the time, it was also a model, in addition to being luxurious, technological and safe, as it already had airbags, an advanced brake system, a built-in radio and even a telephone.

This car, by the way, was sold in Brazil and can be found in good condition by some enthusiasts.
