In the last weeks, James Gunn has unveiled everything new that the DC Universe will have. However, it still remains to know what is new that they are going to propose unlike the already established Marvel.
Through some last statements, the former director of Guardians of the Galaxy has revealed his intentions after the departure of Walter Hamada.
James Gunn unveiled the news from DC through a Gizmodo interview. According to what he mentioned, it will not be a copy of everything that has been seen in it.
“I think we have many differences. One of the reasons I love DC is that it really is another universe. It’s an alternate world”, he mentioned Gunn.
James Gunn is now the boss of all DC movies.
In addition, he stressed that the difference with Marvel is that, in the latter, real settings such as the cities of New York, San Francisco and Chicago are seen. On the other side, there is Metropolis or Gotham City.
On the other hand, he stressed that the first phase or first chapter of the DCEU is more prepared than Disney.
“We’re telling a big central story. Of course, I think that our work is much more planned than Marvel from the beginning, since we have assembled a group of writers to work on that story completely.”, he added.
