O WhatsApp will allow users to save temporary messages with a new feature – called Keep in Chat.

The novelty was announced by the founder and CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, who noted that, if the functionality is activated, the sender of the message will be notified if a temporary message is recorded.

Note that the author of the message may deny the recording of the message, so the final decision will always be made by the sender and not by the recipient.

The feature is currently being rolled out globally, with users rolling out gradually.
