The Russian Foreign Minister believes that the West wants to apply a “final solution” to his country. An image that outrages the Jewish community.

MOn Wednesday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said the United States had assembled a coalition of European countries to solve “the Russian question” in the same way that Adolf Hitler had sought a “final solution” to eradicate the Jews of Europe.
The Coordinating Committee of Jewish Organizations in Belgium (CCOJB) immediately expressed its “strong indignation”. “Such remarks constitute a regrettable instrumentalization of the Shoah and the manifestation of an absolute lack of respect for the memory of the victims of this tragedy and are an insult to humanity”, considers the CCOJB, which asked the Belgian minister of Foreign Affairs, Hadja Lahbib (MR), to question his Russian counterpart.
