In the Wii generation, there was no video game that reached more people than Wii Sports, which served to demonstrate the functions of the wiimote in fun mini-games based on sports. One of these sports is boxing, where we face a mii called Matt you just beat Goku of Dragon Ball in a fan art.

Since its appearance in the first WiiSports, Matt has been one of the most remembered Miis by Nintendo fans and appeared again in both Wii Sports Resort and Wii Party. Even so, the truth is that he did not expect to see him defeat Goku from Dragon Ball, not even in a fan art like the one presented by the talented MOE.

This Thursday, January 5, the artist MOE (@venommoe on Twitter) posted fan art imagining a fight between Wii Sports’ Matt and Dragon Ball Z’s Goku, with the caption “Matt is the strongest there is”. Although Moe envisioned a fight that might sound ridiculous, he did it with such a great art style that it’s worth admiring even if you’re not that big of a boxer fan.

In the first Wii Sports game, Matt’s mii was the boxing champion, and since this sport was one of the most fun, many players came up against him, only to lose over and over again. This gave Matt fame, since it is common that when he is mentioned it is to joke that he is one of the most powerful beings that exist.

This joke reached the next level with the incredible fan art that Moe made, as an image of Goku vs. Matt has no right to look as good as this one does. The image shows Matt standing on Goku’s chest, who is floating in space with the earth and the sun in the background. Moe also shared a link to purchase his illustration in print, so if you’re interested in hanging it on your wall, visit that link.
