With proposals for all tastes, free municipal workshops are underway
There are more than 60 decentralized spaces in the city. Registrations are made through the “Santo Tomé en Acción” app, where you can consult the entire available grid.
The Municipality of Santo Tomé launched a new season of the program of cultural, sports and educational workshops that it carries out free of charge and decentralized, in the different neighborhoods of the city.
Registration is now open and can be done through the new app “Santo Tomé en Acción”, available in the mobile Play Store, or in person at the office on 25 de Mayo 1948 street, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. hours
“We are happy to support this offer of workshops that we carry out in the different clubs, libraries, neighborhoods and public spaces that the city has,” said Mayor Daniela Qüesta.
“Some of these proposals are already underway and others are about to start in the coming days, but the important thing is that residents can now consult and register since we have options for all ages and with a wide variety of disciplines,” he added.
The municipal president stressed that the grid of activities responds to the demand of the different institutions, depending on the interest of the residents. “This year we are going to offer everything from school support in the libraries to canoeing in the municipal campsite, in addition to topics as diverse as yoga, recycling, taekwondo, theater, rugby, chess, musical comedy, zumba, among others,” she explained.
“The truth is that we have a very interesting offer, totally free for the residents, which is added to the courses of the Municipal School of Trades and the School of Training of Leaders. Together, we are generating a network of links between the Municipality and the citizens that gives us great satisfaction”, concluded Daniela Qüesta.
The Municipal Workshops 2023 program covers disciplines such as chess, amigurumi, literature, school support, knitting, memory for the elderly, carpentry, Latin rhythms, pointillism, yoga, gym for adults, makeup, recycling, tango, zumba, urban rhythms, stories , theater, art, taekwondo, guitar for children and adults, aquaerobics, swimming, newcom, archery, rugby, recreation, canoeing, astronomy, musical comedy, among others.
