There was an accident at work on Friday morning in a steel processing plant in Dornbirn.
On Friday morning, two workers in a steel processing plant in Dornbirn were working on a picking system. When the system blocked or a 3.5 tonne steel cassette stopped moving, one of the two workers (25) tried to push the part forwards.
Indefinitely injured
For reasons that are still unknown, however, the system reversed and trapped the man in the area of the shin. The 25-year-old sustained injuries of an unspecified degree. After receiving emergency medical care, he was flown to the hospital with the “C8” rescue helicopter. The L 190 had to be closed for a few minutes for the helicopter landing.
