After the failed coup attempt in Brazil, the attacks against President Lula Da Silva do not stop and now a sports figure from that country was the protagonist of a scandalous threat.

Wallace Leandro de Souza, star of the Brazil Volleyball team, and who also practices shooting, was accused by the Brazilian government of making “extremist and coup threats.”

The authorities’ warning came after Wallace de Souza published a poll asking supporters if President Lula da Silva would be “shot in the face.”

The Secretary of Social Communication of Brazil, Paulo Pimenta, announced this Wednesday that he has taken action before the Attorney General’s Office (AGU) and that he will take all the necessary measures.

For their part, Sada Cruzeiro, the club where Wallace works, as well as the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) rejected his statements.
