A person is reported missing after two boats collided, on Saturday, in the Danube Delta, in the area of Mila 23, and the firemen and the police intervene to search for her, reports new.ro.

“Today, around 12:10, a call was received on 112 from a citizen who reported that, on the Olguţa canal, within the radius of Mila 23, there was a collision between two boats, as a result of which a person fell into the water and could not be found. The person who fell into the water is a man aged approximately 30 years,” IPJ Tulcea reported.
The police continue their investigations, together with ISU Tulcea, in order to identify the missing person.
It is about a man of about 30 years.
According to ISU Tulcea, from the first information, it seems that there was a naval accident at the intersection of the Şontea and Oguţa canals.
“Searches for the person are carried out in such cases under the coordination of the police. The SMURD helicopter is also in the area to search for the person”, ISU Tulcea also transmitted.
The SOS Water Rescue association initially announced that a boat was hit by a boat carrying tourists, on a canal in the Danube Delta.
The representatives of the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations Tulcea reported that two crews are moving to the respective area to search for the missing person.
