The Xiaomi Mi Band 8 should not only be the ultimate sports companion and everyday helper, but also a chic fashion accessory. Users can get the Mi Band in various combinations with sporty, elegant and fashionable bracelets. However, the straps of the previous models no longer fit due to the design changes.

New sports and new mini-games
There are new functions such as shadow boxing as a new sport mode, mini games to pass the time and much more. There are now a total of 150 sport modes, analyzes for sport, sleep and stress levels as well as a VO2 max evaluation.
According to the announcement, the battery life has been significantly improved. Xiaomi now uses a 190mAh battery, the previous one had 180mAh. The Mi Band 8 also supports fast charging, which means that the charging time is only about an hour. However, some features will not be available for international customers, only in China. This includes GPS support and operation with a language assistant.
Information about the market launch in Germany is not yet available. You will also have to wait and see when it comes to the price in this country. In China, the new Mi Band 8 starts at the equivalent of 31 euros.
