On Saturday, April 22, 2023, at around 6.40 p.m., the police were informed by telephone that two young people were handling a handgun at Dornbirn train station.
The officers immediately drove to the scene of the incident and were able to find the young people in a smoking booth at the train station. The police spoke to the people and secured the weapon. In the course of the investigation of the facts, it emerged that the weapon was a replica made of plastic, a so-called soft gun.
The young people aged 13 and 15 were then taken to the police station and handed over to their legal guardians. The 15-year-old is reported to the BH Dornbirn for disruption. The 13-year-old cannot be shown due to his age.
