McKayla Bryson, 19, is in trouble with the law after she allegedly smashed the rear window of her ex-boyfriend’s truck with a hammer after an altercation, Cameron County Sheriff Eric Garza said.
The victim claims that although he stopped dating McKayla in 2020, they had remained friends and “only that”. But last Tuesday, June 13, the cordiality between them came to an end. That day the young woman went to the ex-boyfriend’s house located in Santa Rosa, Texas.
According to authorities, McKayla arrived at the scene and began to argue. The young woman then allegedly grabbed the hammer and struck the rear window of the victim’s truck, causing significant damage. In a preliminary interview, Bryson admitted to causing the damage and she was placed under arrest.
Bryson now faces the charge of “criminal mischief.” Later, the young woman was admitted to the Carrizalez-Rucker Detention Center.
