Released last May 12th, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom has already become one of the most acclaimed games of the year (read our review here) and a strong candidate for the Game of the Year award.
While many are marveling at the multiple construction possibilities that the game offers to face the challenges imposed by the arrival of Ganondorf, some players were taking advantage of programming errors (the famous glitches) to obtain resources and weapons more easily, but not it took a long time for Nintendo to put an end to the joy of gamers.
Early this Friday (26), Nintendo released update 1.1.2 of The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. As usual, the update notes do not provide detailed information about what it improves in the game, but many users ended up facing an unpleasant surprise.
Audio issue fixes
- Fixed an issue where sound played at extremely high volume under certain conditions.
Additional Fixes
- Fixed an issue in the main quest “Camera Work in the Depths”, where players could not go beyond a certain point. By downloading the update, players will be able to continue the quest.
- Several issues have been fixed to improve the gameplay experience.
The biggest issue is that the “Various issues have been fixed to improve the gameplay experience” part also includes the removal of some bugs that allowed items and weapons to be duplicated, a feature that many were loving.
With the discovery, many users began to disable automatic game updates as a way to keep the “bugs”. Unfortunately, not everyone had the chance to prevent the update (such as this writer who writes to you), thus being orphaned by a beautiful error that guaranteed infinite money and lots of explosive flowers, something that made Link’s journey a lot easier.
With luck, new errors will be found in the future with this new update and we will be able to return to the party of infinite rupes.
