New clues straight from the e-shop suggest that a new Nintendo Direct is coming with at least a bit of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom in it.

Rumors surrounding the next Nintendo Direct continue. Hardly had the new year begun, a leaker certified to whom we owed in particular the name of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom in advance, had ignited the Web in teasing a new event that would give news of a Metroid Prime game. New clues seem to point to a showcase imminent. The players are in any case convinced. Explanations.

A Nintendo Direct with Zelda BOTW 2 imminent?

To say The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is one of this year’s most anticipated games would be an understatement. Nintendo is pulling out all the stops to prepare for the release of its new system seller by producing even more consoles than in previous years. However, the open-world RPG has been relatively quiet since its announcement. Few concrete details are known, for example, about its scenario or even its new gameplay. As we know, the publisher will communicate ahead of its release scheduled for May 12. The publisher’s next speech, however, may be closer than we thought.

Several users have indeed noticed that the e-shop pages of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and Advance Wars 1+2 Reboot Camp have been discreetly updated at the same time. The Canadian Nintendo Switch store has also received new NSUID codes suggesting that the opening of pre-orders is imminent in American regions. Indeed, if Zelda BOTW 2 can already be reserved with us, this is not the case for the rest of the world.

Following Big N’s communication pattern, this means that the Japanese publisher is going to reveal new information about these two games soon. Everything therefore suggests that a Nintendo Direct with a bit of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom would be in preparation, but the information is obviously to be taken conditionally because it is only speculation for the moment. It could just as well be that the publisher is content with a trailer and simple posts on social networks. Whatever happens, we’ll be fixed soon enough.
