The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is coming to the Nintendo Switch in a few weeks.
A new detail on the beginning of Link’s latest adventure is now coming from the official Zelda website.
Where does it all start?
The page tells you where Tears of the Kingdom begins. Which might not come as a surprise, but you never know. In any case, there’s one spoiler alertunless you want to know.
Ready? OK. According to the site, Link’s journey begins “on one of the many mysterious islands that have suddenly appeared in the skies over Hyrule.”

All in all, it says: “Link begins his journey on one of the many mysterious floating islands that have suddenly appeared in the sky over Hyrule. There, our hero must acquire new skills before returning to the surface world and his epic adventure can begin.”
Again, given that the floating islands have always featured prominently in trailers, this might not come as a complete surprise.
