THE asus remains committed to the distribution of Android 13. After taking the new mobile operating system from Google for the Zenfone 9it’s time for two more smartphones to receive this same update: Zenfone 8 and 8 Flip. With that, the company completes the list of eligible models for the month of January, although there are others awaiting release.

Android 13 is rolling out gradually to Android owners. Zenfone 8 and 8 Flip in Europe, Russia, India and Taiwan, but if all goes well during the initial distribution phase, a wider rollout should happen soon to reach other key regions, including Brazil.
In addition to the new software features and enhancements, this update, which brings firmware version “33.0210.0210.210”, also delivers the January 2023 security patch, containing several important fixes to keep the operating system bug-free.
When the update is available, we recommend that you keep your smartphone connected to a Wi-Fi network to avoid spending on your data plan and that it has at least 50% battery to avoid shutdowns.
It’s worth remembering that Android 13 offers a number of interesting features that should improve the user experience, including new permissions for notifications, copy and paste between devices, greater privacy, new media player and the ability to assign different languages to apps.
