San Juan, Apr 22 (EFE).- The veteran Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Zion & Lennox has launched the single “No Sigue Reglas” together with the new urban exponent Maeso, in which they reproach femicides in Puerto Rico.

With a sexy and vibrant approach, the urban pop theme tells the story of a strong and independent girl who lives life on her own terms, details a press release sent out by Maeso representatives this Saturday.

Lennox, in turn, uses one of his verses to praise the woman who bets on her self-respect, who fights and does not tolerate mistreatment, inspired by her concern for the femicides that have occurred in Puerto Rico.

The song, which also features a music video, was musically produced by Oneill, Bory and DJ Tazmania.

The music video, directed by Christian Suau, was filmed on the bay in historic Old San Juan.

The narrative presents Maeso with a special friend with whom he goes to a party to share with Zion and Lennox in an imposing ship on the high seas.

The images seek to highlight the charms of the woman, in addition to the coastal beauty of Puerto Rico, highlighting the energy, the good vibes and the happiness of enjoying life, the statement added.

“I know you are going to enjoy the song as much as I do. In the video we wanted to bring a tropical ‘flow’ (style), so that they dance and sing”, expressed Maeso, who said that the collaboration with the duo is “a dream come true”.

“Grateful to Zion & Lennox, who I admire, and are two of my favorite artists,” he added.

With a fresh and innovative proposal, Maeso continues working to fulfill his musical aspiration and consolidate himself in the Latin urban scene.
