The singer-songwriter Joan Manuel Serrat wins the Princess of Asturias Award for the Arts

MADRID.– The musician and singer-songwriter Joan Manuel Serrat won on Wednesday Princess of Asturias Award for the Artsannounced the foundation that grants the awards.

The award, which has a financial award of 50,000 euros (53,000 dollars), is the first of the eight awarded annually by the Princess of Asturias Foundation and which are presented in October in a ceremony held in Oviedo, in the north of Spain.
