Los San Diego Padres claimed victory in the first of two games against the San Francisco Giants in the first MLB regular season series to be played in Mexico City. The Alfredo Harp Helú Stadium was the venue for a very good game, which for a moment turned into a shower of home runs.

In total they registered 11 homers in the game, plus 17 hits for a total of 27 runs. The Giants made 11 runs, and the most frustrating for them was that it wasn’t enough to win, as the Padres responded with 16, so this was an offensive lesson in the MLB Mexico City Series.
