On Sunday evening, a single perpetrator from a group of young people threatened a 14-year-old in Feldkirch with a knife and kicked him.

On Sunday around 6 p.m., a 14-year-old boy and his 13-year-old companion were followed by a group of eight youths on the Haldenweg in Feldkirch in the direction of the allotment gardens. When the two noticed the pursuit, the 13-year-old fled north on the advice of her companion.

Threatened with a knife

The 14-year-old stayed behind and was caught up by the group. One of the youths intimidated the boy, searched his pockets and demanded that his shoulder bag be handed over. When the 14-year-old refused to hand over the bag, the same youth threatened him with a knife. The boy finally handed over the bag under threat. Since there were no valuables in it, the perpetrator attacked the 14-year-old with kicks. The group then fled without taking anything in the direction of Feldkirch town.

Looking for witnesses and clues

The victim suffered minor injuries and went home after the attack, where he lodged a complaint with the police. The police are asking witnesses who can provide information about the incident to contact the Feldkirch Police Inspectorate (Tel. +43 (0) 59 133 8150).
