Mexico City- The Porsche Cayenne has received a major update that improves the powertrain, styling, and cabin.
The 3.0-liter turbo V6 gets a power increase of 13 horsepower, paired with an additional 36 pound-feet, for new totals of 348 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque.
The Cayenne E-Hybrid combines this V6 turbo with a 174-horsepower electric, which represents a range of 463 hp.
Another improvement to the hybrid powertrain is an increase in battery capacity, which goes from 17.9 to 25.9 kWh, bringing its purely electric range to 90 kilometers. It has an 11 kW on-board charger that recharges the battery in two and a half hours.
The Cayenne S trades the twin-turbo V6 for a 4-liter twin-turbo V8 making 468 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque; these numbers are an increase of 34 hp and 37 pounds over the previous engine.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 4.7 seconds and the top speed is 273 km/h.
The Cayenne Turbo GT receives an injection of 19 hp, bringing its total power now to 650 horsepower, giving it acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 305 km/h.
A weight reduction package is offered for the Turbo GT making it 32.6kg lighter.
The Cayenne, S and E-Hybrid versions receive new dual-valve shock absorbers for separate adjustment of rebound and compression, the suspension includes Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM).
An air suspension is offered as an alternative, which is standard on the Turbo GT.
The styling is also improved and now has redesigned headlights with more angular contours, showing the influence of the electric Taycan.
The front bumper and hood are newly designed and at the rear you can see new lights and that the license plate has been relocated to the bumper.
Inside you can see significant design improvements. The dash has new instrumentation with a 12.6-inch curved screen. In addition, it incorporates a 15-watt wireless charger and the center console has been redesigned; It has a 12.3-inch screen.
