A 58-year-old man from Teleorman allegedly paid a 13-year-old minor to have sex with him / The man was arrested

A 58-year-old man from Teleorman County was arrested after allegedly offering money to a 13-year-old minor to have sex with her, reports News.ro.

• “On September 19 this year, the policemen from the Dobroteşti Rural Police Section 5 reported ex officio that a 58-year-old man from Stejaru commune, Teleorman county, allegedly had sexual relations with a minor from the same locality”, IPJ Teleorman transmitted on Wednesday.

The cited source stated that, between December 2022 and January 2023, the man would have had sexual relations with a minor, 13 years old at that time, offering her money.

• “A measure of detention was ordered against the man, he was placed in the Detention and Preventive Arrest Center within the Teleorman County Police Inspectorate, the investigations being continued under the coordination of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Roşiori de Vede Court. On September 20 of this year, the man was presented to the court, the judge of rights and liberties ordered the preventive arrest for 30 days”, the quoted source said.
