A tragic accident in Berisso claimed the life of a 9-year-old girl, who was traveling on a motorcycle with her mother when they staged a triple crash. The woman remains hospitalized in the neighboring town.
The vehicles involved are a Dodge 200 truck, a Fiat Cronos taxi and the Mondial Max 110 cc motorcycle, where the minor was traveling with her 44-year-old mother. It happened at the intersection of Avenida del Petróleo Argentino and 12 de Octubre.
The minor was identified as Zoe Yugovaz, police sources confirmed. The investigation, labeled as “culpable homicide” seeks to determine how the triple fatal road accident occurred.
The taxi, which was carrying a passenger, did not suffer major damage to her or her driver. The 9-year-old girl died instantly and her mother had to be immediately transferred to the Larrain Hospital, in Berisso, by SAME, but she is now out of danger.
Investigators are on the trail that the accident would have occurred when the truck grazed the minor vehicle, causing it to hit the Fiat Cronos, although it is only a theory of the police force.
