Philips Hue is one of the best-known brands when it comes to connected lighting. If you’re new to home automation and room lighting, and aren’t sure where to start, the Hue range is ideal. The smart bulbs offered by Philips are easy to install and configure. The Rue Du Commerce pack brings together the essentials for a good start. This starter kit includes two E27 bulbs and the connection bridge, as well as a Hue Go V2 lamp.
Once unpacked, all you have to do is connect the bulbs and the connection bridge and you’re done. To do this, screw the bulbs into your light fixtures and press the switches. Plug in your bridge and connect it to your Wi-Fi router. All you have to do is find the bridge and your Hue bulbs, via the Philips Hue app, to use them. You can change the intensity and color of the lighting at will, or control and plan the switching on or off of the bulbs, in order, for example, to simulate a presence in your home.
