The Infantry Guard of the Misiones Police had to intervene for a detainee who caused disorder at the First Police Station in the city of Posadas.

Police sources indicated that the rioter was identified as Rafael M. (28) who is being held for a robbery case that he is instructing in the Sixth Investigating Court of the provincial capital.

According to the spokesmen, the incident occurred on Saturday at 2 in the morning, when the prevention guard of the cell sector of the First Police Station found that a detainee was disturbing coexistence with the other inmates, who were trying to calm the situation, but he threatened to attack them.

Faced with this scenario, the Infantry had to intervene and they reduced the unruly. Per protocol, he was examined by the doctor on duty, who determined that he had no injuries and was altered. Later, he was transferred to the Third Police Station in order to avoid further problems with the other detainees.

From the provincial force they clarified that there was no attempted riot and that the Infantry Directorate or the Preventive Action Group always intervene in this type of event, since by internal protocol, they are in charge of the daily searches in the cell sectors. of the police stations and in case of any eventuality they come immediately. In addition, they confirmed that there were no injuries.
