Moments of extreme tension were experienced this afternoon in the heart of the Barrio Norte, where A plainclothes police officer opened fire on an armed criminal who surprised her while she was on her way to work and tried to take the motorcycle she was riding from her. The assailant had to be urgently transferred to the Rossi Hospital, where he was treated and is recovering, now out of danger.

According to official reports, the agent was going to her place of work when she was intercepted by two armed robbers aboard a motorcycle, who struggled with her until she fell to the asphalt. The victim then identified himself as a member of the Buenos Aires Police and when targeted by one of the criminals he opened fire, wounding the attacker on the left side of his waist.
