A young prisoner who would have shot his ex-partner in the face

A Bayamón court judge determined on Saturday night a cause for the arrest of a woman for allegedly threatening to kill and wounding her ex-partner with a gunshot.

From the investigation it emerges that 29-year-old Adaxai Acosta Carrillo fired multiple shots at the victim that hit him in the face and left hand, for which he had to be transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

Charges were filed against the young woman for violations of the Law for the Prevention and Intervention with Domestic Violence (threat), attempted murder (article 93D) and violations of the Weapons Law.

The female was given a $200,000 bond, which she did not provide, for which she was admitted to the Bayamón Correctional Complex until the day of the preliminary hearing scheduled for August 14, 2023.

Agent Víctor Rivera, attached to the Homicide division of the Bayamón Criminal Investigation Corps, was in charge of the investigation.
