According to the director of the Ghost of Tsushima film, production is progressing at a good pace

Even though the movie Ghost of Tsushima was announced more than two years ago, neither its cast nor an official premiere date have been revealed yet. However, the director assures that the project is progressing at a good pace.

During an interview, Chad Stahelski revealed that the adaptation of Ghost of Tsushima is in an “intensive development” phase. Although he did not provide specific details, he praised several aspects of Sucker Punch’s gameplay.

According to Stahelski, Ghost of Tsushima offers a strong narrative and captivating characters, which brings confidence to the film crew. His main concern is to find solutions for preserve the unique visual aesthetic of the game in the film adaptation.
