Trávníček is one of the best-known actors and voice actors in the Czech Republic. As a very young beginner, he got the role in the fairy tale film by chance in the early 70s. It was his first major film after studying music and acting. The role, for which he first had to learn to ride a horse, made him famous.
The Cinderella film (GDR co-production) has developed into an absolute cult during the Christmas season in recent decades, and can be seen on Christmas Eve (1.40 p.m., ARD), among other things.
