Mexico City.- President Andrés Manuel López Obrador pointed out that they will take care of information from the Armed Forces because the Sedena and the Navy are being spied on by the Pentagon, the DEA, and some media.

“We are going to take care of our information for national security, I have already made that decision. We are going to take care of the information of the Secretary of the Navy and of Defense because we are being the object of espionage by the Pentagon and many information media in Mexico are leaking information that is delivered to them by the DEA,” he said in a morning conference.

“Nothing will happen because the Secretary of Defense and the Navy and the Government of the Republic are defenders of Human Rights and do not spy as before, we do not want to facilitate the work of those who are spying on.”

The president insisted that the DEA seeks to violate the sovereignty of the country.

He also stressed that his government does not have “problems of conscience.”

“We have to protect ourselves because the DEA is informing the Process and others, the Pentagon informs the WP, they hack, just give the source, nothing more, I am giving it, but you put it, because we already know,” he said.

“We do not have conscience problems, we are not repressive. We do it for security because they want to violate our sovereignty in an interventionist plan. We are not going to stand idly by.”
