As announced since the end of 2022, this year, the president will pay particular attention to the progress in the construction of the Mayan Train, which is scheduled to be inaugurated by the end of 2023.

AMLO reiterated that the Mayan Train will be inaugurated in December
This January 21, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), president of Mexico, was in Yucatán to supervise the works of the Mayan Train, which he reiterated will be fully inaugurated in December of this year.
As he passed through Yucatecan territory, the national president flew over the community of Izmal, from where he was able to observe the progress of the project and also the Mayan archaeological remains.

Likewise, AMLO pointed out that he will be in Yucatan every two weeks.
