This January 21, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), president of Mexico, was in Yucatán to supervise the works of the Mayan Train, which he reiterated will be fully inaugurated in December of this year.

As he passed through Yucatecan territory, the national president flew over the community of Izmal, from where he was able to observe the progress of the project and also the Mayan archaeological remains.

Likewise, AMLO pointed out that he will be in Yucatan every two weeks.
