National Pizza Day is celebrated in the United States on February 9 every year. It was created to celebrate the love of pizza, one of the country’s most popular dishes. To celebrate National Pizza Day in the United States, Jodi an employee of the US Embassy in Algeria wanted to try the famous Algerian Square Pizza. The Algerian square pizza, is therefore a variety of traditional pizza from Algeria, very popular.
Moreover, the video was therefore relayed on the official Facebook account of the embassy on the day of this national holiday, i.e. Thursday, February 9, 2023. In this video, Joli expresses his enthusiasm for tasting the famous popular Algerian pizza : the square pizza.

The woman explains that when she arrived in Algeria last summer, she was very surprised by the popularity of this square pizza.
She explains that she has lived in cities renowned for their pizzas, such as New York or Italy, real pizza institutions. This national holiday is an opportunity for her to test the highly recommended square Algerian pizza.
So, she tasted, and the verdict was final. “Wow, that’s really really good”, exclaimed Jodi. Her enthusiasm doesn’t stop there, so she says she should tell everyone about it in the United States and Italy. She adds that they really must visit Algeria, to try this pizza.
It is therefore not the first time that Algerian street-food has proven itself to foreigners visiting Algeria. After the Garantita, the grilled sardines, this time it’s the square pizza that’s making waves.
